This matchup is the definition of the heavyweight battle of the year in Group I. Two unbeaten teams that cruised their way to this point and have knocked off every challenge in their path.

Let’s start off with the acting away team in this neutral site matchup at Metlife Stadium in Glassboro. The Bulldogs have roared to back-to-back Group 1 finals and are looking to avenge last year’s loss to Mountain Lakes. RB Kenny Smith is a big reason for Glassboro’s success eclipsing his 3rd straight 1,000-yard season and first with the Glassboro program since transferring over from Hammonton. They will be looking to ride on his success and also (not to overlook) the amazing talent of the Sabb brothers Xavier and Amari. Both have surpassed 1,000yd receiving seasons and at least 3INT on the defensive side. These two have pure talent. And don’t forget their insane defensive line! Brandon Simmons had a staggering 17 Sacks, Tyler Bright had 13, and run-stopping legend Dorian Kelsey had 15 tackles for loss. This team is a tough task to stop, but on the other side in Cedar Grove, they’re undefeated for a reason.

When you look at Cedar Grove, what do you see? I see an AIR RAID,  my goodness!  Stephen Paradiso is embarking on one of the best seasons in NJ high school football history for Group 1 with over 3,500 yards and 40 TDs! And to complement that Jackson Morrice is also going off with over 1700 receiving yards and 25 total TDs. Plus, when your kicker goes 70-72 on XP you know you’re scoring a lot. They have a very good secondary as well with multiple guys having multiple picks.

This is going to be a tremendous game. The biggest question for both these teams is this: How do these defenses stop the offenses from being on the field? One long drive with 6 up on the scoreboard by the end of it, could spell disaster for the opposing team. This is certainly a matchup you do not wanna miss. Division one talents all over the place in a clash of the titans at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
