Girls VolleyballMorris County Girls Volleyball Tournament Field Finalized By Josh Wilets October 2, 2026 History was made a season ago when top-seeded Randolph hoisted the Morris County championship trophy last October. Now, they are in a similar position to repeat. TEAMS WITH BYE Randolph Mount Olive Parsippany Hills Morris Tech West Morris Central Morristown CAN RANDOLPH REPEAT? If the Rams are going to repeat, they will win with good passing and diversifying their offense. Randolph is battle-tested, having faced multiple top-20 teams in the state. The Rams have not run a 6-2 offense much until this season, and it has paid off. Randolph has one of the best overall hitting teams in the county, which includes Ola Jankowska, Reese Nelson, Maria Fuentes, Viki Katsanos and Karoline Hindson. CINDERELLA STORY Mountain Lakes is seeded 13th and will host 20-seed Mendham. After that, the Lakers would face 4-seed Morris Tech and look for a possible bracket-buster in Denville. Should Mountain Lakes advance to the quarterfinals, they could have a crack at West Morris Central who is seeded 5th for the second consecutive season. PLAYERS TO WATCH Reese Nelson (Randolph) – OH Ola Jankowska (Randolph) – OH Klara Hindson (Randolph) – S Olivia Drucks (Mount Olive) – OH/S Bella Osoria (Mount Olive) – OH/S Juliet Galante (Parsippany Hills) – OH/MB Apoorva Bhargava (Parsippany Hills) – S Brielle Shoemaker (Morris Tech) – OH Carly Roper (Morris Tech) – S Kristina Vlezko (West Morris Cental) – MB Callista Tronoski (West Morris Central) – S Nawel Ibazatene Lefebvre (Morristown) – MB Laci Cornine (Morristown) – OH BIGGEST THREAT TO TAKE DOWN RANDOLPH Without question, the Mount Olive Marauders have been solid all season long. Olivia Drucks and Bella Osoria have been amongst the most efficient players in the county from the opening serve. The most overlooked player on Mount Olive is their libero Ava Diaz, who averages over 5 digs per set. Without Diaz, who knows what the defense would look like or how the offense would flow. The last time Mount Olive won the Morris County Tournament, they went back-to-back in 2016 and 2017—both against Randolph. Lee Clowers was the head coach and Tom Reszka was the assistant. Fast forward to now and their roles have since flipped, but the Marauders are back to being one of the more dominant teams in the county. The key player for Mount Olive back in those days was Annie Karle, who went for 15 kills and 17 digs in 2016, and then 22 kills and 12 digs in 2017 in the county finals. PICK TO WIN Randolph is expected to win, especially with their full cavalry of hitters. The Rams will need to pass and defend well, as every winning team will need to do to win the big game. RANDOLPH 3-1 (25-18, 25-22, 17-25, 25-19)
