Get ready for a Green Wave of winners at this weekend’s Morris County Tournament at Mount Olive High School. Delbarton, which has won 14 straight team titles, is a slam dunk to win a record 15th straight.

Coach Bryan Stoll’s team has a contender at most weights.

The finals will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday and its the first time ever that the tournament finals will be held in the afternoon.

Here are my picks:

106: Cameron Sontz (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Aiden Reilly (Mendham), Jaydin Mendez (Dover), Logan Forgatch (Parsippany Hills).

113: Tyeler Hagensen (Mount Olive)

Who else to watch: Frank DeMary (Parsippany), Dan Visha (Roxbury), Isa Kupa (Boonton), James McGinty (Parsippany Hills). Mark Montuore (West Morris).

120: Daniel Jones (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Jones is probably the state favorite and .Nick DiFrancescantonio (Hanover Park) is a possible state medalist. This would be a great final. Rafe Fonte (Mendham) and Anthony Piemonte (Mount Olive) are other good ones here..

126: Ryan DeGeorge (Delbaerton)

Who else to watch: Brandon Beres (Mount Olive), Jaydin Barreto (Morris Hills), Jack Doty (Kinnelon), Ryan Jack (Jefferson), Jason Chrostowski (Butler)

132: Chase Quenault (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Justin Bullock (Mount Olive), Nick Gregory (Randolph), Michael Vandermeulen (Jefferson), Joshua Ortiz (Madison).

138-Jayden James (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Jack Myers (Morristown) vs. James could well be a state final. James being my pick is a coin flip. Others to watch are Mario Fornini (Par Hills) and Brett Salitsky (Roxbury).

144: Trevor Jones (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Jordan Hernandio (Mountain Lakes), Connor Wysocki (Randolph), Logan Sykes (Butler)

150: Gabe Logan (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Phoenix LaCorte (Boonton), Tanner Perez (Mount Olive), Charlie Bacinsky (Roxbury)

157: Carl Betz (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: West Morris’ Brandon Dean and his family moved to Colorado, otherwise he would have been the pick in what would have been a terrific final. Betz spent last year giving state third-place finisher Cross Wasilewski all he could handle in the Delbarton wrestling room. Another one to keep an eye on here is Morris Hills’ Roger Barrezueta.

165-Allesio Perentin (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Perentin is the clear favorite but Randolph’s Jason Petroski is a potential state placewinner. If Petroski can give Perentin a run, that would go a long way to boosting his confidence for a good postseason run. Ryan Flammer (Jefferson), Gavin Gomes (Morris Knolls) and  Michael Fahmie (Whippany Park) are others to watch.

175: Louis Cerchio (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Malik Alzubi (Parsippany), Nicolas Gonzalez (Mount Olive), Jon Earhardt (Whippany Park), Rinaldo DiGiocopo (Mountain Lakes).

190: Vincenzo LaValle (Hanover Park)

Who else to watch: LaValle and Mount Olive’s Tyler Bienus (Mount Olive) are two of the best at this weight in all of New Jersey and this will be one of the best final matches. LaValle is a two-time state third-placer and wants to work his way up the podium. Bienus will have the home crowd in his favor.

Who else to watch: Austin Quandt or Elbrus Majagah (Delbarton), Wyatt Sisco (Kinnelon), Will Knapp (Roxbury), Dominick Kraemer (Montville), Jack McCaffery (Madison)

215: Vincent Lee (Delbarton)

Lee and West Morris’ Tommy Borgia would make for a great finale. Lee took LaValle to the limit in the MCT finals last year and is often overlooked in Delbarton’s star-studded lineup.

Who else to watch: Sean Elsmore (Montville), Andrew Baumann (Parsippany Hills), Luca Toriello (Butler)

2285: Connor Martin (Delbarton)

Who else to watch: Martin is a great football player who is the pick, but watch out for a any number of solid wrestlers in a deep weight that includes Timothy Connolly (Jefferson), Tyler Cumming (Mount Olive), Austin Buczynski (Roxbury), Luke Abilio (Montville), Dean Mangiocavallo (Randolph), and A.J. Codella (West Morris).
