• Delbarton- The No. 1 ranked, and 4th seeded Green Wave came from behind to defeat the No. 5 ranked and 2nd seeded Don Bosco Prep Ironmen 10-7 in the Non-Public A final. Junior outfielder Miles Handy redeemed himself from an earlier miscue in the game. Handy stepped up with the score knotted at 7 in the top of the 6th inning and ripped his first triple of the season that would prove to be the game-winning hit. Delbarton won their first sectional championship since 2019 and will look to capture the Non-Public A state championship against the St. Augustine Hermits on Thursday, June 6th. The Green Wave will carry their 18-game winning streak into the matchup.
  • Bridgewater-Raritan– The No. 4 ranked, and top-seeded Panthers cruised to a 10-0 mercy rule win over the 4th seeded Westfield Blue Devils. The teams met in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 semifinals. Senior infielder Matthew Fattore was clutch for Bridgewater-Raritan. Fattore led the Panthers with two doubles and 4 RBIs. Bridgewater-Raritan will face the 7th-seeded Hunterdon Central Red Devils in the Section 2, Group 4 final. They are looking to change their fortunes from a year ago.
  • Morris Knolls- Senior Luke Dickerson just continues to mash against New Jersey teams. His two-run shot extended the lead for the No. 10 ranked and top-seeded Golden Eagles. They defeated 4th-seeded Wayne Hills 7-2 in the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 semifinals. The home run was Dickerson’s 17th of the season. Morris Knolls is looking to defend their sectional title when they host the 3rd-seeded West Essex Knights on Monday, June 3.
  • Delsea- The No. 7 ranked, and 4th seeded Crusaders upset the No. 2 ranked and top-seeded Cherry Hill West Lions 5-4 in the South Jersey, Group 3 semifinals. Senior Zach Maxwell came through in the biggest spot of the game for Delsea. Maxwell hit a game-winning RBI single to give Delsea the 5-4 lead they would not relinquish in the bottom of the 7th inning. The Crusaders will host the 7th-seeded Shawnee Renegades in Monday’s sectional final.
  • Randolph- Junior shortstop AJ Terry was the hero for the second-seeded Rams. Terry’s go-ahead two-run home run in the bottom of the 6th inning lifted Randolph over the No. 11 ranked and 3rd seeded North Hunterdon Lions 4-3. North Hunterdon attempted to rally in the top of the 7th inning by scoring two runs. The rally would fall short as Randolph prevailed in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 semifinals. The Rams will travel to face the No. 14 ranked and top-seeded South Plainfield Tigers in Monday’s sectional final.
