• Don Bosco Prep– The No. 4th ranked Ironmen continue to dominate their opponents. Their biggest win of the season so far came on April 5th against Old Bridge. Don Bosco Prep got past the No. 20th-ranked Knights with ease. Sophomore Junzen Sarza had a double and four RBIs in the 14-1 win.
  • Ridgewood– The No. 19th ranked Maroons have shown why they were Group 4 champions last season. Their most recent victory over Pascack Valley was very impressive. Sophomore Alex D’Angelo was in the zone against Pascack Valley. D’Angelo went 4-4 with three doubles, a single and five RBIs. Ridgewood beat Pascack Valley 14-4. 
  • Morris Knolls- The Golden Eagles defeated the Randolph Rams 7-4 in a huge NJAC showdown. Morris Knolls jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the 1st inning. Senior outfielder Brodie Freker’s three-run blast in the 4th inning helped push Morris Knolls to the victory. The loss dropped Randolph to 6-1 on the season. Morris Knolls improved to 6-1.
  • Ramapo– The Raiders upset the No. 16th ranked Livingston Lancers 4-0. The teams met in the Autism Awareness Challenge in North Brunswick. Senior pitcher Kenton Grosfelt tossed a complete game shutout for Ramapo. Senior catcher and infielder Payne Teel went 2-3 with two singles and two RBIs.
  • Westwood- The Cardinals have been playing some great baseball early in the 2024 season. Senior Andrew Dillingham was masterful on the mound against River Dell. Dillingham threw a no-hitter with six strikeouts in the 10-0 victory on April 8th
  • Delbarton– The No. 2nd ranked Green Wave rallied past their rival Bergen Catholic 5-2. Bergen Catholic was able to tie the score at 2 in the top of the 6th inning. Delbarton would not be denied as they scored three runs in the bottom half.  Sophomore shortstop/second baseman Sal Garcia went 2-3 with a double and a single. He had two RBIs as well. Senior catcher Louis Friedrich came up clutch for Delbarton too. Friedrich had a big two-run double in the game. 
  • Randolph– The Rams mashed their way to a 12-7 win over the Steinert Spartans. This matchup was a part of the Autism Awareness Challenge. Randolph set the tone early as Connor Stokoe and Rocco Albano hit back-to-back home runs. Stokoe would connect on another home run later in the game. He drove in three RBIs. Randolph earned its 10th win of the season. 
  • St. Joseph (Montvale)- The Green Knights prevailed in a pitcher’s duel against the Ridgewood Maroons 2-1. Both starting pitchers were outstanding in this one. Green Knights senior Jeffrey Germosen went five innings and struck out ten. Germosen allowed one earned run. Ridgewood senior Jack Power took the unlucky loss as he went six innings and fanned twelve. He gave up two earned runs.
  • Old Tappan- The Golden Knights defeated the Passaic Tech Bulldogs 9-6. Junior infielder Rocco Pierorazio went 2-4 with three RBIs. He had a double and a single in the contest. Old Tappan is off to a terrific 8-1 start. 
  • Indian Hills- The Braves won an exciting back-and-forth affair against a good Wayne Hills team 9-7. Indian Hills was able to fend off Wayne Hills after they scored six runs in the 5th inning. Senior Brody Diers led the Braves with three hits and two RBIs. Indian Hills is 9-2 on the season.
