- Don Bosco Prep- The Ironmen are currently on a four-game winning streak after a tough 2-1 loss to Donovan Catholic. Sophomore Chase Bagley belted a grand slam in Don Bosco’s 10-0 win over Paterson Eastside on Thursday, May 9th. Don Bosco Prep boasts an impressive 19-2 record.
- Delbarton- The No. 2nd ranked Green Wave extended their winning streak to seven games on Saturday. Delbarton defeated Randolph 2-0 to advance to their fifth straight Morris County Tournament Final. Senior Aiden Dill went 5 and 1/3 innings without allowing a run. The Green Wave was able to manufacture both runs on sacrifice fly balls. Delbarton will look to capture their fifth title in a row at the MCT when they face upstart Chatham. The teams will meet on Thursday, May 16th at 7 PM.
- Morris Knolls- The No. 4th ranked Golden Eagles’s eight game winning streak was snapped against the Chatham Cougars. Chatham stunned Morris Knolls and silenced their potent lineup. Senior duo Trent Jenks and Charlie Shushansky both went deep in Chatham’s 8-1 win. Senior Brodie Freker drove in the only run for Morris Knolls with an RBI single in the 1st inning. Morris Knolls has a huge showdown coming up against Don Bosco Prep on May 21st.
- Pompton Lakes- The Cardinals won their 12th straight game on Saturday. They beat Wayne Valley 12-1 in a game that ended via the mercy rule after five innings. The teams met in the Passaic County Tournament Semifinal. Senior Tyler Benway led the Cardinals with three RBIs. Pompton Lakes will host Lakeland in the Passaic County Tournament Final on Tuesday, May 14th.
- Glen Rock- The Panthers had their four-game winning streak halted against St. Joseph (Montvale). Glen Rock lost 3-0 to St. Joseph (Montvale) in the Bergen County Tournament quarterfinal. Green Knights senior Gabe Alvarez stifled Glen Rock’s batters all game long. Alvarez went six innings and struck out nine.
- Ridgewood- The No. 9th ranked Maroons were upset 1-0 by tenth-seeded Ramapo in the Bergen County Tournament quarterfinals. Ramapo senior Kenton Grosfelt was magnificent against Ridgewood. Grosfelt pitched his third complete game of 2024 and struck out a season-high eight batters.
- St. Joseph (Montvale)- The Green Knights won their sixth straight game on Saturday. Brady Knuckles had a huge three-run home run against Ramapo on Thursday, May 9th. The home run gave the Green Knights the lead for good in the 7th inning. St. Joseph (Montvale) won 6-2. They will travel to face Don Bosco Prep in the Bergen County Tournament semifinal on Saturday, May 18th.
- Lakeland- The Lancers extended their winning streak to six games on Saturday. Senior Anthony Degiglio matched his season-high with four RBIs against Paterson Eastside on Monday, May 6th. Degiglio went 2-4 with a single and a triple.
- Ramsey- The Rams had their eleven-game winning streak snapped against Ramapo in the Bergen County Tournament Round of 16. Rams senior Luke Monico did all he could to give his team a chance to win. Monico went 3-4 with two home runs and three RBIs. Ramsey fell to Ramapo 9-7.
- Pascack Hills- Senior outfielder Joey Giordano had a massive day at the plate against Dwight-Morrow on Thursday, May 9th. Giordano drove in a career-high six RBIs in the Cowboys’ 22-2 win. Additionally, he hit two bases-clearing triples in the game.
